Omar Elad
CEO
Active in the trans community for over two decades and has a significant part in shaping the trans community as we know it today. Has a bachelor's degree in visual arts from Bezalel and a master's degree in clinical social work from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He was involved in the intersection of the homeless and mental health and then in management positions and diversity and social justice processes in non-profit organizations.
Omar operates from a socio-political concept deeply rooted in faith in community and mutual guarantee.
DR. Ido Katri

Ido has been with us since we founded the organization. Ido is in charge of Project Gila’s legal action. In his academic and professional career he researches and promotes trans rights, with an emphasis on transgender people in the Israeli prison system. He is an assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Science in Tel Aviv University.

Nina Halevy
Personal Support and Training Coordinator and leader of the Trans - Dula project
Nina joined us in 2014. She serves as a personal guide and mentor to trans people in need, as a trainer to healthcare professionals, and as a leading advocate for policy change and for constructing services that address the needs of the trans community. She is also a student of spiritual care at Rambam Health Care Campus and we are excited to see the new tools she will undoubtedly have to offer to the community in the future.

Lee.Oz joined us in 2019. She is a mentor, a guide and a trainer of healthcare professionals. With her highly nuanced and knowledgeable understanding of how various social situations can be shaped by our gender identity, she is able to promote a vital discussion on healthcare and quality of life for trans people. In her personal life she undergoes plastic surgery, while also serving as an advocate for female empowerment and working as a content and education coordinator in IGY.
